The UF Springhill Health Center is located at 8491 NW 39th Avenue, one-half mile east of I-75 at Exit 390 (behind the Eye Surgicenter) in Gainesville, Florida. Office hours are Monday thru Friday from 8-5 and Saturday from 8-noon.
The Springhill Faculty Clinic is the newest Department of Psychiatry clinic and offers the following services:
Adult Psychiatry
Full time physicians with Board Certification in Psychiatry providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment for a wide range of psychiatric illnesses including mood (e.g., depression, bipolar), psychotic (e.g., schizophrenia), anxiety (e.g., Generalized Anxiety Disorder, panic, OCD, Social Phobia, PTSD), and neuropsychiatric disorders (e.g., dementia, autism spectrum, impulse control).
Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
Full time physicians with Board Certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry providing comprehensive outpatient clinical care to children, adolescents and school aged young adults, including their families, with psychotherapy, psychotherapeutic medication and behavioral education.
Addiction Medicine
Full time physicians with Board Certification in Addiction Medicine providing comprehensive addiction medicine outpatient services including, substance abuse evaluation, psychotherapy, and medical management of Suboxone® maintenance therapy.
Chronic Pain Clinic
Full time physicians with Board Certification in Anesthesiology, Pain Medicine, Psychiatry & Addiction Medicine offering a full range of services for the evaluation, diagnosis and management of chronic pain. The team of UF physicians is committed to providing expert, treatment in a caring, comfortable, and patient-focused setting.
ECT and rTMS Evaluation & Treatment Center
Full time physicians with Board Certification in Psychiatry & Neurosurgery providing comprehensive evaluation and state-of-the-art treatment for patients with depression desiring biologically-based, but non-medication treatment interventions e.g., electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS).
